MotoGP – Estoril Day 1 – Alex Hofmann: "I lack confidence in the rear"

Like his teammate Jose Luis Cardoso, Alex Hofmann also suffers grip problems at the rear of his Dunlop-tyred Ducati Desmosedici. The German rider will try tomorrow together with the team to resolve this problem which is preventing him from giving his best. The word is up to him.

“Today we worked a lot but tomorrow will be no different, we still have to check many aspects of the setup. I lack confidence in the rear and this doesn't allow me to feel comfortable enough on the bike. Resolving these difficulties will be our priority for tomorrow. We need to analyze all today's data carefully and, later, we will work on the set-up, to try to adapt as much as possible to the tires which don't have an easy life here. I'm very motivated, tomorrow we'll have to make a big step forward to catch up with the other riders and be in a position to have a good race. I count on it a lot."
