Randy De Puniet had an excellent race today at Donington Park, scene of the eighth round of the 2007 world championship. The French Kawasaki rider in fact achieved another excellent result (sixth on arrival) after fifth place in the last Catalunya GP . At the beginning De Puniet had some difficulties but as the laps went by the situation improved and therefore the Frenchman is happy for having given continuity to the result in Barcelona. The word is up to him.

“It was a tough race and I was very happy to reach the checkered flag! In the first laps I was slow but I found it difficult to improve because I didn't want to make a mistake. The tires were a problem at the end, as the track dried out, and it was difficult to control the bike. Grip wasn't good but it was the same for everyone and, overall, the bike worked well in difficult conditions. I finished in sixth position and for me it was my best race because it was very hard, so I'm very happy. It's great for me and the team to continue doing well after the result in Barcelona.”
