MotoGP – Donington Park – Barros: "I'm quite satisfied"MotoGP – Donington Park – Barros: "I'm quite satisfied"

Alex Barros is quite satisfied with his race at Donington Park. In fact, the Brazilian rider of Team Pramac D'Antin started from behind and with the changing track conditions (first wet and at the end almost dry) it was not easy to bring home a good performance. Barros succeeded, obtaining the seventh place finish despite having chosen a tire that was too soft and having difficulty due to lack of grip. He has the microphone.

“I'm quite satisfied with the race, I honestly hoped for a better result, but given my starting position and the decidedly unfavorable track condition, we couldn't do much. I started well, but as soon as I accelerated, the bike started to spin and so I slipped one position. My pace was good initially, in fact I started to attack, overtaking Pedrosa and going very close to Loris who was lapping fast. During the race however, the track started to dry out and the difficulties began. The Bridgestone we had chosen for the front was too soft and didn't allow me to ride well, on the contrary the rear improved when the asphalt dried out further. Racing in these conditions is always very difficult, but I gave my all to get the best possible result.”
