Danilo Petrucci said he was satisfied with the three days of Irta testing held in Jerez de la Frontera, the last test before the start of the championship which will start in Qatar on 8 April. The rider from Terni concentrated on the tires and electronics, stopping the clock at a time of 1'41.926 and placing himself in fifteenth place, 3.146 from the best time set by Stoner. The word is up to him.

“They were three very hard days – declared Petrucci – but in the end I am satisfied with the result we obtained. I am the third Italian in the standings and the third among the CRTs and by only a tenth I did not reach my goal which was to have a gap from the MotoGP of less than three seconds. Today I tried different tires and we worked a lot on the electronics, we had two small problems that stopped us when the track conditions were ideal for setting the time, but in the end I still managed to improve in the last minutes of the day . I have to thank my team because they are doing a fantastic job, the TR003 is constantly growing and also proves to be reliable as I clocked up 87 laps today. Now we're going to Qatar, a track I don't know, aware that there is still a lot of work to do."
