MotoGP 2021 – FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports have regretfully announced the cancellation of both the Shakedown Test and the official MotoGP Test in Sepang.

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and resulting lockdowns and complications have forced the cancellation of both events, which were due to take place at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia in February.

To see the bikes on the track again (with the new ones of Valentino Rossi in Petronas, Quartararo in Yamaha Factory, Bagnaia and Miller on the official Ducatis, Martin and Zarco on the Pramac ones, Marini and the 2020 Moto2 champion Enea Bastianini on the Sky ones and Avintia, Pol Espargarò in Honda HRC, Alex marquez in Honda LCR, as well as Petrucci on KTM, ed.) we will have to wait for the Losail test from 10 to 12 March, which is currently confirmed, even if Jerez or Portimao could replace Sepang .
