MotoGP: Cal Crutchlow “Today was a really difficult day”
Tenth time for the next Ducati rider
Cal Crutchlow he closed the first day of free practice with the 10th fastest time, just 1 second behind Marc Marquez. The British rider from the Monster Tech3 team finishes in the rear for the first time this year, also "catching" a large gap from the leaders. At the end of the day Crutchlow is therefore very disappointed and he stated that nothing went right today and therefore there will be a lot of work to do starting from tonight to be among the leaders again.
“Today was a really difficult day – Cal Crutchlow said – and I'm not satisfied with the pace and position. My right arm is certainly not 100% after the crash at Silverstone but the biggest problem is that I don't have any feeling with the bike in general. We have to try to improve because all I can say is that today was bad and I'm very sorry. Those in front of me run with a better pace and there isn't a single sector where we manage to keep up with the others. I gave everything but I couldn't improve myself. Tonight, therefore, together with the team we should work hard to try to solve our problems and be competitive tomorrow"
