GP Czech Republic MotoGP Qualifying Honda Repsol – Marc Marquez will start from first place tomorrow for the Czech Republic Grand Prix.

The Spaniard is currently the world championship leader and the pace shown in free practice makes him one of the favorites for the race, even if he prefers not to go too far, indicating the Yamahas as formidable opponents.

These are the words of Marc Marquez: "I'm really happy. We had a good test here three weeks ago and the pole is thanks to that test. I felt good and was able to ride hard and find the limit. Tomorrow we will see, because the weather will be so and so. Tomorrow the tires will be important and we'll see how it goes. I honestly expected Dani second. After the stop he was second and I expected him to fight for pole. But we know that the Yamahas are strong here and will be close tomorrow. Tomorrow will be difficult and it will be tough to stay on the podium. In the wet you don't know what can happen, maybe you start and there's no feeling. Yesterday I felt good. We can fight in both dry and wet conditions.”

During the session, the reigning world champion risked falling, but, as he has now seen, he managed to save the bike at the last minute: “You don't think about anything when you're about to fall, you think about it later, when you manage to save the bike like I did. You try to go to the limit and open your elbow and knee because you know you can fall, once that moment is over you breathe a sigh of relief."
