MotoGP Brno, Free Practice 2: Stefan Bradl ahead of Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Rossi
The German "stole" first place from the Mallorcan in the final minutes of the session
The second free practice session of the MotoGP class in Brno saw a Stefan Bradl in great shape, this after the difficulties of the Indianapolis Grand Prix. The Team LCR rider in fact achieved the best time with a time of 1'56"500, a time that allowed him to beat Jorge Lorenzo, the fastest of Free Practice 38, by just 1 thousandths.
Dani Pedrosa is third and ahead of our Valentino Rossi, riding the Yamaha YZR-M1. The rider from Pesaro therefore recovers a position compared to this morning, exchanging it with Marc Marquez, who finished fifth, 233 thousandths from the top.
A positive start for the world championship leader, who had never ridden here with a MotoGP, something that happens to him in almost all the world championship circuits. The #93 of the Repsol Honda Team is ahead of the Yamaha SATs of Cal Crutchlow's Team Tech 3 and a positive Bradley Smith, who finishes these free practices in seventh position and ahead of the Honda of Alvaro Bautista.
Ninth, tenth and eleventh position for the Ducatis of Andrea Dovizioso, Nicky Hayden and Andrea Iannone. The three are more than a second from the top, a gap unfortunately in line with that of the other GPs. Here too the GP13 will make its riders suffer, who always "fight" with their bike's little desire to "turn".
Among the Ducatis, Aleix Espargarò's ART slipped in, finishing twelfth and ahead of Michele Pirro's GP13, who here replaces the injured rider Ben Spies, operated on both shoulders today. The Italians with the CRTs are Claudio Corti (FTR Kawasaki of Team NGM Mobile) seventeenth and Danilo Petrucci, nineteenth with the Ioda Suter BMW.

Looking at the overall times, and the slow motion of Bradl's rear, it would seem that to set the time he mounted a new soft rear, compared to the others who used tires with more laps under their belt in the final stages.
...at least take advantage of the opportunities...someone else loses instead of gaining with the soft ones...
if you are referring as usual to 46, it seems that time has taken its toll.
...we'll see in qualifying tomorrow how it goes with the soft...if not he wins where he tested and has all the "fresh" references he won't win anymore...Jorghe has proven to be significantly stronger when he's well...I think he'll chase too this time!
I don't know fatman we'll see, maybe they won't even be able to use the Softs, maybe it rains and all the cards get mixed up.
Rossi will win at BRNO!!!
