MotoGP – Brno Day 1 – Excellent start for Alex de Angelis

Alex de Angelis achieved the fifth best time today in Brno, the stage of the twelfth stage of the 2008 MotoGP world championship. The San Marino rider from Team San Carlo Gresini also crashed without suffering any physical consequences and in the afternoon he used Bridgestone tires which satisfied him. Tomorrow weather permitting he will continue to work on the set-up of his RC212V. The word is up to him.
“Despite today's crash, I'm happy with my second free practice session. In the afternoon we put on tires that I like and that give me a feeling, in fact I managed to be very fast for the entire session. Despite this, we still have to work because the asphalt is new and we need to store data to improve further.”
