Danilo Petrucci MotoGP 2016 Czech Republic GP Ducati Pramac – Danilo Petrucci achieved the thirteenth time on the first day of testing for the MotoGP class in Brno. The rider from Terni struggled both in the morning and in the afternoon, here's what he told Motorionline.com.

“It was a complicated day, this morning I decided to only use hard tyres, even if evidently the soft is better looking at the others. However, when I put it on at the end of the shift it didn't make a difference and so we have to work on other aspects. I want to see other people's data to understand where they earn. We tried different types of setups, but none worked decently, we have work to do.”

Do you have a particular problem or is it a general issue?

“I can't be effective when braking, I can't brake hard. Both here and in Austria, even though they are two different circuits, we have braking problems. Now we will analyze the data to understand how to improve. It seems that drivers who brake late seem to go faster, so we need to understand why.”

What is the goal for tomorrow?

“Today I saved the tires thinking about tomorrow's Q2. As you know, I'll start one row back due to the Red Bull Ring penalty, so I need to have a good qualifying.”
