MotoGP 2015 GP Czech Republic FP3 – Jorge Lorenzo was the fastest in the third free practice session of the Czech Grand Prix.

The four-time world champion stopped the clock at 1:55.476, a time that allowed him to precede world leader Valentino Rossi by more than half a second.

The nine-time world champion in turn precedes the reigning champion Marc Marquez, his brand mate Bradley Smith and the first Ducati, that of Andrea Iannone, 0.746s off the top.

Excellent performances for the rookie Maverick Vinales, who brings the Suzuki to sixth position, ahead of Yonny Hernandez's Team Pramac Ducati, Hector Barberà's Ducati Open and Andrea Dovizioso's Ducati GP15. Dani Pedrosa closes the Top Ten, the last driver to directly access Q2.

We would like to remind you that the Spanish rider suffered a severe blow to his ankle caused by a fall yesterday, resulting from an oil leak from the fork. Among the "big" ones outside the Top Ten are the Espargarò brothers, Crutchlow, Petrucci and Redding.

Of note is the excellent session of Alex de Angelis who, riding the "old" ART of Iodaracing, put himself behind four riders, on Honda and Yamaha, both Open.

the bluff as usual gets almost six tenths but miraculously tomorrow with the setting chosen at random it will be competitive from the first lap...

Give him time, Rossi didn't start very well here in Brno either, he crashed and lost the bike with the best set-up, this morning doesn't seem to have gone too badly although Lorenzo and Marquez are certainly much faster on the pace, especially Marquez.

But Marc, I don't know why, didn't do such a fast lap, on the flying lap, or he found traffic or he didn't use a completely new tyre, or he made mistakes. Lorenzo, on the other hand, started well and hasn't had any problems so far.

I don't know if Rossi will be there in the race, we could see an Indianapolis-style race again, or a Lorenzo or a Marquez who take and leave, creating more and more space.

I have worked on the track and have been watching motor sports on TV for years and I know that there are drivers who are better on the flying lap, rather than others who are parsimonious in tire consumption, therefore over the race distance they have the "advantage" of coming out on top
but a driver who takes hits from 4 tenths up to seven or eight per lap for the whole week and on Sunday from the first lap and I underline from the first lap sets times that he has never set, it is something that I have never seen in all the years and in no motorsport discipline
I don't need to hear the usual ball that he works and his style favors the match, if that were the case he would be competitive from mid-match onwards instead...

Poor SKARTO, if you don't understand something it doesn't mean it's not real, it just means you're an IDI0TA...!!!!

Given the times at the end of FP4 and then of qualifying, this time you were wrong, Rossi returned working on the setting of the bike that he had had to abandon because he crashed.

Perhaps without Pedrosa who lost oil, Rossi would have arrived sooner. Pole and second place in my opinion were not within his reach anyway, but if he gets third, and the last 3 laps of FP4 on those times he will probably be there for the race and he will come out on the distance because he seems to be going strong on the hard tires at the front and rear.
