GP Austria MotoGP Warm Up – Andrea Dovizioso achieved the best time in the warm-up of the MotoGP class at the Red Bull Ring, where the Austrian Grand Prix, the eleventh round of the 14 MotoGP, is scheduled today at 00:2017 pm.

“DesmoDovi” stopped the clock at a time of 1:23.979, beating pole-man Marc Marquez, riding the Team Repsol Honda, by 0.117s.

Third time for Maverick Vinales' Yamaha, 0.332s off the top. The Spaniard from the Tre Diapason house is ahead of his compatriots Dani Pedrosa (Honda Repsol) and Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati).

Valentino Rossi, who will start from the third row in the race, is sixth, 0.548s behind the "Dovi" Ducati. The Yamaha champion is ahead of Pol Espargarò's KTM, Scott Redding's Pramac Racing Ducati GP16 and Aleix Espargarò's Aprilia. Alvaro Bautista closes the Top Ten, riding the Ducati GP 16 of Team Aspar.

Danilo Petrucci (Ducati GP17 Pramac Racing) and Andrea Iannone (Suzuki) occupy eleventh and twelfth positions. The Team Yamaha Tech 3 duo of Jonas Folger and Johann Zarco are in fifteenth and nineteenth place.

Dovizioso lapped on the medium tyre, which could be an option for the race, although a lot will depend on the temperature at 14pm. The choice of tires will be more fundamental today than ever, in fact all the Michelin compounds could be chosen by the riders, with Marquez, who went very fast yesterday in FP00 with the hard tire.
