Aleix Espargarò was the author of another beautiful race yesterday on his ART CRT. The Team Aspar rider had the "luxury" of placing himself behind two prototypes at COTA (Circuit Of The Americas), where the second stage of the 2013 world championship was scheduled, and was once again the best in his category . The word is up to him.

“I'm very happy with how we went all weekend. I made a good start which allowed me to overtake Hayden, Iannone and Bautista, but then they managed to pass me again. Even though I didn't lose sight of my goal, which was to be the best CRT, I recognize that I tried to chase them and keep their wheel, but it wasn't possible. However, the initial push helped me gain an advantage over Smith and Spies. The truth is that I had a difficult time keeping them at bay, little by little I could see them getting closer, but luckily I was able to manage the three second advantage. Smith didn't give me a second of respite and I'm partly grateful to him because he forced me to drive at my best and concentrate throughout the race. I am very satisfied with the work we are doing and we are still the point of reference for the CRT.”

…Espargaro, you are really strong and you deserve better… if I think that great riders do nothing but complain about incredibly competitive bikes compared to yours it makes me sick…
