MotoGP Austin: Cal Crutchlow “I'm very satisfied, today we did an incredible job”
Excellent fourth place for the British rider of Team Tech 3
Cal Crutchlow had a really positive race at Cota in Austin. The Team Tech 3 rider in fact finished at the foot of the podium after running a race at a pace very similar to that of Lorenzo. At first he wasted time by going long to pass Bradl, but then he set the pace for him by going really fast. The word is up to him.
“I am very satisfied, today we did an incredible job. We didn't expect it, we hadn't participated in the tests and I was worried. Then there was also the fire at the garage on Wednesday night. Finishing the race fourth behind Marquez, Pedrosa and Lorenzo is a huge result. My race was characterized first by a long struggle to try to pass Bradl, then I recovered by lapping at Lorenzo's pace and this really gives me a lot of confidence for the next races. I give 100% and the team and the bike are competitive. I'm looking forward to Jerez with confidence, where I would like to have another great race."
