Andrea Iannone MotoGP 2016 Grand Prix of The Americas Team Ducati – Andrea Iannone achieved the fourth fastest time in qualifying for the American Grand Prix, but due to the penalty imposed on him after contact with his team-mate Andrea Dovizioso in Argentina, he will be forced to start from the third row, with the seventh fastest time. However, Ducati's #29 remains confident, he has the say.

“Today was a strange day, due to the rain that fell at lunchtime. In FP4 I was in great difficulty, I really struggled - said Andrea Iannone - In qualifying I didn't have the right pace, I wasn't able to be effective, but we're still not too far away. Unfortunately I will lose three positions due to the penalty I received in Argentina, but I'm not too worried about that. The choice of tires and being able to improve the bike when braking will be fundamental."

The world ranking has become so important over the years that the events of one grand prix can influence another grand prix. In essence, it can happen that a driver becomes champion of the USA or is unable to become champion because another driver or he has done a mistake in the previous grand prix (perhaps even penalizing himself!).
Just a few years ago it would have been considered crazy.
The most incredible thing is that few will understand what I wrote....

All we can do is hope for a good start, the pace is there and if he starts to do things using "also" his head, I am of the opinion that we will see him again as a protagonist up front.

    As always:
    Great Ducati
