MotoGP Assen: Vinales, “I have found the feeling to push to the maximum”

Gp Assen MotoGP Yamaha Day 1 – Maverick Vinales was the fastest on the first day of testing for the MotoGP class Dutch Grand Prix, eighth stage of the 2017 world championship. The Spanish Yamaha rider has rediscovered the feeling that had propelled him to the top of the standings in the first part of the season iridescent. Today he tried both the new and the "old" frame, but he didn't want to let it be known which one he felt better with, the microphone goes to him.

“As soon as I got on the track I immediately felt good, I rediscovered the sensations of the first part of the season and I was immediately fast. We tried all the tires and I felt good with them all. Tonight we will analyze the data to understand which ones to use for tomorrow and for the race.”

Have you tried the new frame, which one did you feel best with?

“We are still working on the frames, we still have to decide which one to use. Which one do I prefer? I don't know yet (he laughs, without letting it be known which one he got the best lap with, ed.), however it went well, we still have to improve something in T1, but in T2 and T4 I'm going at my best. We are doing a good job.”
