MotoGP Assen, Press Conference: Vinales, “Barcelona was a disappointment, here I think I can get a good result”

Dutch GP MotoGP Press conference – World championship leader Maverick Vinales was present at the usual press conference preceding the Dutch Grand Prix.

The Yamaha rider, fresh from tenth place at the Barcelona GP, is very motivated for the race, but knows full well that it will be difficult. The new chassis tested in the Barcelona tests will be tested during the weekend.

These are the words of Maverick Vinales: “For sure the race in Barcelona was a disappointment, it didn't go well, so we have to continue to work hard. We have to be quick to forget, I hope to have good sensations again and push to the end. I think my riding style helps in this circuit. The championship is changing a lot, before I was very ahead now we are very close. The only thing we can do is do our best in every single race. All drivers are dangerous for the championship. We have to try to win and we have to get a good bike like we did in the first races. This is a good track for me, so I think I can get a good result. We will test the new chassis. In Barcelona it was fine, it gave good sensations, it works well when braking and exiting corners. On the tires we have to try and arrive in the best possible way for the race, we will need to understand how they behave over the distance of the race."
