The Spaniard precedes the Hondas of Pedrosa and Stoner, Rossi tenth

MotoGP Assen, Free Practice 1: Lorenzo in the leadMotoGP Assen, Free Practice 1: Lorenzo in the lead

First free practice session for the riders of the MotoGP class in Assen (where it races on Saturday), seventh stage of the 2012 world championship. Twenty-two degrees in the air and twenty-five on the asphalt for the 21 riders (12 prototypes and 9 CRTs ) who in the first 45 minutes looked for the best set-up of their bikes.

It should be noted that Honda Factory riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa had a new chassis at their disposal, brought by the Japanese company to try to solve the problem of chattering at the front of the RC213V. After a few laps, however, both (first the Australian and then the Spaniard) decided to abandon it temporarily to return to the previous version.

At the end of the session, Jorge Lorenzo recorded the best time. The world championship leader lapped in 1:35.106, a time only 20 thousandths better than that of his compatriot Dani Pedrosa, who in turn precedes team-mate Casey Stoner by 55 thousandths.

Fourth time for Ben Spies, riding the second Yamaha Factory. The American, who has a gap from the top of just under half a second, precedes the first Ducati, the official one of compatriot Nicky Hayden. Kentucki Kid stopped the clock with a time of 1:35.841, behind him the Team Gresini Honda of Alvaro Bautista and the Ducati SAT of Hector Barberà.

Closing out the Top ten are the two Yamaha SATs of Team Tech 3 of Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow and Valentino Rossi, riding the second Ducati Factory. The nine-time world champion is 978 thousandths behind Lorenzo and just over two tenths behind team-mate Hayden.

Stefan Bradl was in more difficulty than in previous races, eleventh with the Honda of Team LCR. Best CRT rider is Randy De Puniet, riding the ART of Team Power Electronics Aspar. The Frenchman precedes team-mate Aleix Espargarò, our Michele Pirro, the returning Karel Abraham and Mattia Pasini.

…still in the fourth row…this time though he seems to have put more effort into it, I didn't mind his riding…he's still quite far away…far from Ducati and close to Honda!!!

      I see a second row.

Brivio "we have never had contact with Honda and even less with Yamaha". noooooooooooo you want to see that not having any requests he continues to say that Ducati is his first choice, I just trust that being from the liar gang they will do their job. dirty slut!!!!!!!!!!!!!

…in perspective I also see a 2 or 3 row, between the fifth and seventh position…it's time for him to wake up a bit…he's always been on my nerves but he's still a multiple world champion…on historic tracks like this , even if modified, should reduce the gaps a little…

Everywhere you hear or read the "doctor" declares that he feels good and is in love with the Ducati, let's see if he will also turn out to be a nice Pinocchietto or if he will stay since he is so happy and says he wants to continue.
        In this case poor ducati.
But the uncle's words and the hesitation in answering the questions, but ………….

...if I had to list all the bullshit that Rossi has said in recent years I would finish in a month...guys, a guy like that can forgive everything, he makes a lot of money go around etc...do you remember when, after having evaded taxes, I prepared a video broadcast quietly on all national TV? Almost as if he were the President of the Republic... but I also put myself in Ducati's shoes: what do they have to say? Who already know that Rossi will run away next year? Without perhaps any victory? Horned and beaten…

It's true you forgive him and grant everything!
If he ever were to appear in politics they would elect him with 95% of the votes, ha ha ha!
        To keep from crying……..

Lorenzo, as always, gives the "beat" at the right time at the end of the shift, great.
It's useless for Honda to keep trying and changing, let them put their hearts at rest this year the chatter remains at maximum it will reduce at the end of the season as long as they are satisfied and then disappear completely for next year when the old driving returns, it will be like this By now we know how the tricks of the game work.

@h954rr but if you're so tragic and you don't trust the world of mgp but why don't you act like a stoner and leave but you're a bit sulky...???? oh my the post talks about qualifications and giu spade on vale and they talk about steaks and giu on vale and everyone on vale !!!!!! instead I say that without Dovi the developer Honda will go back to the way it was 3 years ago!!!! look yamaha at the beginning of the year seemed out of the game and the kanguiro kissed what he had to do but little by little Dovi eliminated the small defects on the already almost perfect Yamaha and look at the results !!!!!! I don't like Dovi but as a developer he is number 1 and the results confirm it!! have you wondered why tech3 is so highly competitive that it gives pay to the officials!!! where they tested new products and then they arrived in factories!!! great yamaha, that's how it works!!!

Of course, I don't argue with certain people anymore, I agree with them and that's the end of it.
Hi, let's crack open a nice cold beer!

…blue ribbon, of course…I'm increasingly preferring it to Ceres ah, ah!!!
Once upon a time I was a mild anti-Rossian, I took everything in stride...then I discovered this forum and characters like "Z" and I became an extremist...could it be a coincidence? Meh…

      4. H954RR said:

No, it's not a coincidence but it's also my reason why, as an unpleasant person, I totally fell out of my hair, ah ah ah let's drink up!

Don't worry about it Andrea, maybe you're new and don't know well the frustrated people with persecution delusions on this forum, H954RR blames Rossi even when he goes to the rotisserie and finds the prices increased, let's pity him.

  • W_il_Sic said:

Well, but guys, you are not very objective….
Now this Forum is only "your business", only the 3 of you write to us: *Marco, fatman, H954RR.
You wanted to get rid of the "crime novels" and you succeeded: look at this page! It's just the three of you.
Whoever kills a man who is already dead is called maramaldo.
I really don't understand this constant fury against Rossi without talking about absolutely anything else.
Write rivers of words, but always, invariably the same ones.
What are your expectations? Why do you do it? I mean, what's the goal?
    Because the discussion is not lively;
there are the 3 of you cacophonically repeating the same refrain: RossiMerda+LoZio+LeGommine+Aiutato/non/vero/Campione+UccioGay+non.lo.vuole.piu.nobody, etc. etc. and it's always these 4 bullshit here.
So I wonder, no one answers you anymore except some madman as exalted as you but of an opposing faith, no one considers you anymore, only you and each other write...
What's behind it? What is the ulterior motive?
Well, I would be very curious to know, if you would be so kind as to explain it....

why do you think that ducati keeps Rossi only for money reasons??
If he wanted to win a world championship he wouldn't have kept Hayden on the block for more than three years...
or maybe Hayden has a chance to win a world championship??
It's Rossi who rides a motorbike because he wants to win... and I trust in the fact that:
Vale doesn't have all this need for money..and then it's Honda or Yamaha or Gilera that gives it to him, what would change him?
Vale wants to win as if it were his first race with a GP
Vale doesn't feel bad with an Italian house a stone's throw from her home and which in my opinion is making an effort to grow!!
I trust that the commitment on both sides is there and there is also the will to continue... and it's not just out of INTEREST!

Whether you want it or not, Rossi is still an old-fashioned rider...not the jocks with the vulture mangers behind them!
The human component in Rossi's negotiations has always been very present, at least that's what I seem to have perceived, so let's see!
YOU STAGGER BUT YOU DON'T GIVE UP!!!

Excellent performance by the HRC pilots who closely marked the "porfuera"; the fact that they tried a new chassis bodes well for the Chatter issue, obviously it can't be used straight away because it needs to be tested thoroughly and therefore I believe that a decision will be made in this regard in the next rounds and races.
The analysis of the times is interesting: Stoner is a fraction faster than Lorenzo in all sectors except T3, Pedrosa accumulates the delay in T1 and T4; We'll see in free practice 2..
    Great Hayden and excellent Spies...obviously the American on the Japanese has more changes for the races and for qualifying;
Dovi keeps Cal's great handle behind him...but in the race I see the Englishman as the favourite.
As usual Hector took a tour of his own... an end in itself...
Rossi is where I expected, but in qualifying I think he can aim for a low second row.
The most important data remains the new Honda chassis and the negligible gaps with Jorge; Obviously we need to see the margin for improvement which is usually very large between the first and second free practices... but I think they all pulled... Stoner will certainly have already sought the limit... Lorenzo more on the race pace... for the pole I say Lorenzo threatened from Pedrosa and Stoner, more Pedrosa than Stoner; for the race I say that the favorite is Lorenzo... but I believe that Stoner has every desire to break the Mallorcan's winning streak and Pedrosa will want his first victory at all costs!
