MotoGP | Argentina, Day 1: Crutchlow, “Wide margin for improvement”

Argentina GP, LCR Honda – Cal Crutchlow concluded the first day of testing at the Termas de Rio Hondo track in seventh place. The standard bearer of the Honda LCR team carried out several comparative tests on the compounds brought by Michelin to Argentina, commenting positively on the data collected on the hard tires (use required during yesterday's free practice). The objective will be to reach the top ten in this afternoon's qualifying.

Here are the words of Cal Crutchlow: “Today went quite well and we are moderately satisfied with the result. I say this because the Hondas are struggling a bit here and finding the right set-up with the new engine is not easy. We tested the mandatory tire as requested by Race Direction and as far as I'm concerned it meets my standards. I'm sure there is a wide margin for improvement and with the data we are going to analyze tonight something positive can come tomorrow."
