As with the Moto3, the riders of the MotoGP class also found a dry track for the first time this weekend in Alcaniz, at the Motorland of Aragon, the fourteenth race of the 2014 world championship, which will end on 11 November in Valencia and which sees Jorge Lorenzo at the top of the world championship standings with 38 points ahead of his compatriot Dani Pedrosa, knocked out by Barberà in Misano.

Everyone was on track immediately because the sky threatened rain anyway and unfortunately it was Dani Pedrosa who paid the price for this "sprint" start, who crashed after just two laps and literally "destroyed" his Honda RC213V. The Honda rider, who fortunately did not suffer any physical consequences, then returned to the pits to get the second bike.

The round continued with Yamaha and Honda fighting for the top positions, not only with the official bikes, but also with those of the satellite teams, namely that of Stefan Bradl's Team LCR and those of Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso's Team Tech 3.

In the end, the pole position of the "Gran Premio Iveco de Aragon" was won by world championship leader Jorge Lorenzo, with his fifth pole of 2012, the twenty-third in MotoGP, the same number of poles as Dani Pedrosa (who today celebrated his his 27th birthday), second today (by just 88 thousandths) despite the crash at the start of the session which "forced" him to use the second bike. However, the Repsol Honda Team rider gave a good show of strength and will be in the match tomorrow. Closing the front row we find the excellent Cal Crutchlow, riding the Yamaha SAT of Team Tech 3.

Ben Spies also qualified well, opening the second row with the fourth fastest time. The American from Yamaha who was the fastest in the wet yesterday preceded the Honda SAT of Stefan Bradl's Team LCR and our Andrea Dovizioso, with the second YZR-M1 SAT of Team Tech 3.

Excellent qualifying for Jonathan Rea, replacing Casey Stoner, who achieved the seventh fastest time in his second appearance in MotoGP. The Honda World Superbike rider put Valentino Rossi's Ducati behind him, who after the good race at Misano returns a bit to the "ranks" and who also pays for a crash midway through the session. The Ducati rider from Pesaro is 1"545 from the top, a gap in line with what he did last year and before the Misano race. The nine-time world champion precedes team-mate Nicky Hayden (who also fell without physical consequences) and Hector Barberà who closes the Top Ten with the GP12 Zero.

A step back compared to Misano for Alvaro Bautista, who here had an advanced level of Showa suspension available. the Team Gresini rider in fact finished 11th even behind the excellent Aleix Espargarò, riding the ART Aprilia CRT of Team Aspar. Behind Bautista we find Randy de Puniet with the second ART of Team Aspar and the Ducati SAT of Karel Abraham's Team Cardion AB. The Italian riders with the CRTs are Michele Pirro (FTR Honda) 15th, Mattia Pasini (ART Team Speed Master) 16th and Danilo Petrucci, 18th with the Ioda Suter BMW.

nice qualifying where many riders took turns in the lead, I believe that tomorrow the race will be quite close on this beautiful circuit. Rea was excellent as he contained the gap in the second, the rest were far away, it's a shame for Hayden to have lost sensitivity in his right hand injured in Indy, I hope for his quicker recovery.
the other Ducati ended up in the scrapyard for a long time (out of the way of its driver) also words of uccio so dear to the tavulliaboysssssss.
thus we arrive at 18 falls and zero victories.
    Thank goodness we're at -5......but it's tough.

...but it's hard...I'm having a lot of fun with the tavulliaboys (this one is beautiful)...EneA are you there?
OR ARE YOU PLAYING LOTTOMATICA, SINCE WHAT IS WORTH IT IS A SUBSCRIBER IN EIGHTH PLACE?

…well, Rossi is actually better in the dry, Lyon66 was right…he only took half a second from Rea…it must certainly be a coincidence, the bike has improved significantly, you just need to be patient…yes, patience until the end of the season ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah…sorry, the usual Lorenzo fan keyboard…ah, I forgot, STAY UNITED!!!

…Rossi also made Pedro lose pole…always between ic@gl+++i!!!
If I were in Ducati, for the last races I would take Hernandez!!!

...guys, incredible: I took a look at the poll on who will win the 2012 championship and I see that Rossi is third with 16% of the votes...but who are these stunned people? All the tavulliaboys present in this forum?

    @Fatman

I honestly expected a smaller gap and that he would qualify at least 5th or 6th.

It was you who talked about Abraham and you caught it in the teeth..., you'll probably catch it in the teeth tomorrow too ;-)

I'm still counting on the setting in the warm-up and waiting for the race to see the results at the end, the race on this track is treacherous until the checkered flag.

...if taking it in the teeth means seeing the nurse in fifth position, so be it...I'll go straight to my trusted dentist ah, ah...and come on, don't get upset...you have to stay united with the rest of the crew...look, you're with me nice too...shall we take fourth place?

…and then since yesterday you've been saying that the free ones are useless for understanding anything….so not even the official ones, I imagine!!! You "tavulliaboys" don't even know (this is beautiful, because I didn't think of it, I'm sorry) which way to turn... Rossi is indefensible at the moment... even behind Rea... maybe he'll win again but, now, he should give back all the lavish profits, at least in part….as well as STAYING UNITED with the tavulliaboys!!!

  • Lyon66 said:

Well, Tavulliaboys is not bad, we are all "boys in spirit", despite the springs; you got another green thumb.

If you don't stop between "let's stick together" and now "tavulliaboys" it will end up that the green thumbs you get are all mine ;-)

If tomorrow Vale finishes fourth you will be subscribed for fifteen days to a green thumb for every comment you enter, as long as it is not blatantly offensive ;-)

    1. fatman said:

...I don't think I'm being offensive, at least not with you, only with reds...a question of skin and fans...I'll tell you the truth, I follow off-road and supermotard a lot, very fun and spectacular races...as soon as I talk about these races the majority some people, especially women and scooter riders, tell me: "you know, I only follow MotoGP, Valentino's there..."...and I: "but wow..."

Too many of your posts and too many irons in the fire to respond... ;)

I simply renew the advice about blowjobs, let off steam with them…. not with cigarettes, or the triglycerides of fried bacon... those things are bad for you... ;)

on the other hand, even your presence in the comments isn't very good in general... hihihi ^^

So since the only reason you're here is to vent with…

    GIVE IT DOWN PIPPEEE!!! :D
