Dani Pedrosa (which you can read here in our exclusive interview) achieved the best time in the fourth free practice session of the MotoGP class in Aragon, not valid for the purposes of qualifying.

The Repsol Honda Team rider set a time of 1:48.796, which allowed him to precede (even if by only 19 thousandths) his team-mate and world championship leader Marc Marquez. Behind the HRC duo we find a revived Cal Crutchlow, riding the Yamaha SAT of Team Tech 3. The next Ducati MotoGP rider has a gap of 329 thousandths from Pedrosa and in turn precedes the Honda of Stefan Bradl's Team LCR by just 58 thousandths.

Fifth time for Jorge Lorenzo. The reigning champion (winner of the last two races held at Silverstone and Misano) is ahead of Valentino Rossi, just one thousandth behind the Majorcan. A good step forward for the Pesaro rider, who had a negative day yesterday.

Rossi precedes Alvaro Bautista's Team Gresini Honda (the only one to use Showa suspension) and the first Ducati, that of Andrea Dovizioso, here at his 200th GP in the world championship. Closing out the Top Ten are Bradley Smith with the second Yamaha SAT of Team Tech 3 and Nicky Hayden, in his fifth last race aboard the Ducati.

Andrea Iannone with the Ducati finished twelfth, while the Italians with the CRTs are Claudio Corti thirteenth, Danilo Petrucci fifteenth (which you can read here in our exclusive interview) and Luca Scassa (replacing the injured Karel Abraham riding the ART) in twenty-first position.
