Dani Pedrosa, unlike his team-mate Marc Marquez, has already tested the Honda RC213V 2104 prototype today (in the photo). The world championship leader did the "shake down" with nine laps in total (done in two outings) to give initial feedback to the HRC engineers. The bike made a good impression on him, but he won't be using it in the short term. The word is up to him.

“It was a positive test day. I focused a lot on the (current) bike, doing various tests with different rear shock absorbers to find more grip, especially when exiting corners. I'm quite happy because we found something good. We also did a sort of "shake down" of the 2014 prototype. I only did two rides for a total of nine laps, to get a first impression and give the engineers some feedback. The bike is ok, but at the moment we need more time to understand it, so I won't use it in the short term.”
