MotoGP Aragon: Andrea Dovizioso, “Marquez is from another planet, but I'm satisfied”

Yesterday you talked about rear tire degradation, what is the situation now?

“The degradation remained, as said yesterday the important thing was to adapt to this situation and given the evidence I would say that we succeeded. I'm happy precisely because we managed to be competitive despite the lack of grip."

Is there an explanation for the many excellent falls that occurred in Free Practice 3?

“This is a track where a lot passes from turn 14 to turn 2 and especially in the morning the tire cools down, the consequence is that you end up changing direction with the tire not at 100% temperature. There were also crashes at turn 14 and there too some time passes before the next right turn.”

Have you already chosen the tires for the race?

“We will have to do some final checks, but we have identified the type of rear tire that could be good for us. For the front, a lot will depend on the temperature we find.”
