The world championship arrives in Aragon, Spain, where the fourteenth stage of 2013 will take place next Sunday. It arrives with rookie Marc Marquez leading the world championship standings.

The Spaniard from the Repsol Honda Team (pictured in action at Misano) has a 34 point lead over his compatriots Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa. Given the latest races, the only one who seems to be able to stand up to him is the Yamaha rider, reigning champion and fresh from two consecutive victories, Silverstone and Misano.

According to the Majorcan, however, it will be really difficult to reach and overtake Marquez, who this year, apart from the crash at Mugello, has always finished on the podium. The track (on the calendar since 2010) is quite demanding for Brembo brakes, which in addition to equipping the official manufacturers, are also present on many CRTs.

The most critical part is not so much the braking section of Turn 7 (where the bikes still suffer a deceleration close to -1,6 g), but the mixed part, where the sequence of braking sections could cause problems for the brakes.
