MotoGP: Andrea Iannone also misses Laguna Seca
The shoulder dislocation has not healed, he will be back on the bike in Indianapolis
After missing the Sachsenring race due to a dislocated right shoulder, Andrea Iannone will also be forced to miss the next race scheduled for Laguna Seca next Sunday. The Team Pramac Ducati rider was in fact "recommended" by the doctors for a two-week stoppage.
The Abruzzo native crashed in the fourth free practice session of the German Grand Prix. In an attempt to change mapping (at the end of the finishing straight) he instead engaged the "Pit Limiter", falling after the bike had slowed down significantly when first gear was engaged. He should be fit for the Indianapolis event on August 18th.
The first part of the season was punctuated by injuries for Team Pramac, which also had to do without Ben Spies, who was injured for a long time and who in theory should return as well as Iannone at Indy.
