MotoGP | Sepang Test Day 1, Bezzecchi: “Satisfied with the pace”

MotoGP Test Sepang Ducati VR46 Racing Team – Marco Bezzecchi returned to the track in Sepang for the first of the three days of testing organized by IRTA.

The VR46 Racing Team rider is back on his Ducati with a special helmet, inspired by the song "Ricominciamo" by Adriano Pappalardo.

“Bez” closed Day 1 in eighth place, 0.654s from the top. For him there was also a crash at turn 4 which occurred at the end of the session without consequences.

“First of all I am really happy to be back on track with the new colors of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. The day wasn't bad, I did a good job with the whole team and we managed to fix some aspects of the bike. In terms of riding, at the Valencia test, I wasn't perfect and we needed to make some steps forward. I didn't test the flying lap time, but the pace wasn't bad and I'm satisfied. Tomorrow we will continue in this direction, we will make some other changes and then the first time attack awaits us also to understand our real level."
