MotoGP | GP Jerez Sprint Race, Marini: “Crazy race, there were many wet spots”

MotoGP GP Spain Jerez Repsol Honda – Luca Marini did not finish the Sprint Race of the Spanish Grand Prix held in Jerez.

The #10 of the Repsol Honda Team, who started from 22nd place, had a good start, moving up to 16th position, close to the Top Ten. Unfortunately, as happened to many of his colleagues, he crashed and did not complete the race.

“It was a crazy race, there were a lot of wet spots and the wind was very strong. It was really easy to make a mistake and especially in the Sprint race, where everyone is pushing a lot and trying to overtake a lot, it's quite difficult. Especially for us who are fighting in “normal” conditions, it was really difficult. I crashed alone like many other riders at turn five. It was very windy and a large wet area outside. I'm fine and we'll try again tomorrow.”
