MotoGP GP Thailand Race – Jorge Martin won a crazy MotoGP race held at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, scene of the MotoGP class Thai Grand Prix, 17th stage of the 2023 MotoGP championship.

The Team Pramac Ducati rider who started from pole had a less than perfect start (as happened yesterday, ed.), but held the lead of the race until five laps from the end, when an attacking Brad Binder on a KTM overtook him, taking the head of the race.

However, the #89 Ducati did not lose heart and with two laps to go, with a big braking move, he managed to regain the top of the race without leaving it again. For the Spaniard, fourth victory of the season after those at Sachsenring, Misano and Motegi.

It wasn't Binder who took the second step of the podium, but Pecco Bagnaia, who was in contention for the victory until the end and who benefited from the "drop-position" of the South African, who made an excursion onto the green on the last lap . A hard-fought race for Bagnaia who limited the damage, losing only 5 points to Martin and remaining at the top of the World Championship at +13.

Fourth at the finish was Marco Bezzecchi, author of a comeback race that saw him precede the Aprilia of Aleix Espargarò and the Yamaha Factory of an excellent Fabio Quartararo, sixth ahead of the Honda of Marc Marquez. Closing out the Top Ten are Luca Marini (Ducati of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team) who was in the leading positions for a long time, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini) and Johann Zarco (Ducati Pramac).

Also in points were Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha Factory) 11th, Joan Mir (Honda Factory), Enea Bastianini (Ducati Factory), Takaaki Nakagami (Honda LCR) and Raul Fernandez (Aprilia SAT RNF).

Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini) crashed while fighting for the podium, the only rider to have chosen the medium rear tyre. Miguel Oliveira (Aprilia SAT RNF) and Maverick Vinales (Aprilia Factory) also did not finish the race.
