Second time for the #12 Aprilia at the Chang International Circuit
MotoGP Thailand Aprilia – Maverick Vinales achieved the second time in practice for the Thai Grand Prix, the 17th stage of the 2023 MotoGP scheduled for the Buriram circuit.
The Aprilia rider finished just 98 thousandths from the top occupied by Jorge Martin's Ducati. The #12 of the Venetian company said he was satisfied, here's what he said to Sky Sport's microphones.

“I didn't feel bad, but we need to take a step forward. I'm happy because with a tire with a casing that shouldn't fit our bike, we're there. I did the time with the first tire and I'm pretty good. Now we have to rest assured, this season we have always been strong, even if not like today, we are very strong in pace. Now we have to stay calm and take a step tomorrow. With tranquility and serenity we will have the opportunity to fight for the top.”

“I think that for the Sprint race the medium-medium choice is fine, we did 8 laps and the tire was still good. As regards the long race, we have doubts on the front, because this morning I felt very good with the hard, let's say 80% hard front.”
