MotoGP Gp Americas Austin Sprint Race – Pecco Bagnaia, after the pole of the Grand Prix of the Americas, also wins the third Sprint Race of the new era of the MotoGP class, held in Austin, Texas.

The Ducati rider dueled in the very first laps with a great Alex Rins (who revived the fortunes of Honda, finishing second and dueling great first with Bagnaia and then with Aleix Espargarò, ed.) with the #1 of Ducati who halfway through the race (10 laps in total of this Sprint Race, ed.) gave the "breakthrough" and then reached the finish line with a wide margin over the Spaniard of Team LCR.

Nice battle for the third step of the podium which saw the Aprilia Factory of Aleix Espargarò and the Ducati Pramac of Jorge Martin as protagonists, with the latter getting the better of his compatriot from the Venetian company.

Fifth at the finish line was Brad Binder with the KTM, who preceded Marco Bezzecchi, with the Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider who, thanks to a few crashes and a good comeback, maintained the leadership of the World Championship by just one point over Bagnaia.

Luca Marini (Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team) had an uphill race as he started from the front row, but made a mistake at the first corner immediately after the start which caused him to lose around 10 positions.

In the end the #10 limited the damage by finishing seventh ahead of the Aprilia RNF of Portuguese Miguel Oliveira and the KTM of Jack Miller, the last rider in the points.

Tenth at the finish line was Maverick Vinales with the second Aprilia; The performance of #12 was disappointing, ahead of Johann Zarco's Ducati Pramac, Joan Mir's Honda HRC, Takaaki Nakagami's Honda LCR and Franco Morbidelli's Yamaha Factory.

A race to forget for Fabio Quartararo, who after a good start from the third row fought with a knife between his teeth, but who exaggerated to close the technical gap that separates his Yamaha from the competition and slipped. Once back on the bike he finished 19th. Ducati tester Michele Pirro and Alex Marquez, Gresini Racing rider, fell.
