MotoGP GP Argentina Qualifying – The riders who risked using slicks during the qualifying of the Argentine Grand Prix in the MotoGP class were rewarded.

Alex Marquez obtained the pole position, the first in the Top Class, who, after passing from Q1, took the Ducati Desmosedici GP of Team Gresini to the top with a time of 1:43.881.

Behind the Spanish rider who had a problem with his bike in Q1, resulting in the start of a fire, we find Marco Bezzecchi with the Desmosedici of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, 0.172s behind.

Third time and front row also for the reigning champion Pecco Bagnaia, who on the Ducati Factory closes the trio who risked the slicks on a track made treacherous by the rain that fell.

Excellent performance from a revived Franco Morbidelli (best placing since Le Mans 2021, ed.), who aboard the Yamaha M1 Factory equipped with rain tires recorded the fourth time ahead of Maverick Vinales' Aprilia and Johann Zarco's Ducati Pramac .

Third row for Luca Marini (Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team), Jorge Martin (Ducati Pramac) and Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia Factory).

Only tenth is Fabio Quartararo, who after passing from Q1 was unable to make the "click" and who, as on the first day of testing, is behind team-mate Morbidelli. Also on the fourth row with Quartararo are the Honda LCRs of Takaaki Nakagami and Alex Rins.

Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing) will start from 14th place, while Honda Factory closes the field, an unusual position for a manufacturer that has won a lot in Top Class. Pol Espargarò, Enea Bastianini, Miguel Oliveira and Marc Marquez are absent due to injury.

Looking at yesterday's tests, the one who "lost" the most was Aprilia, which unlike Ducati did not want to risk slick tires with its riders, Vinales and Espargarò.

We remind you that this qualification applies to both the Sprint Race and Sunday race lineups.
