MotoGP | Alex Rins, fractured tibia and fibula: “It was tough but I'll come back stronger”
The Spaniard was able to return home 16 days after fracturing his tibia and fibula
MotoGP GP Mugello 2023 LCR Honda – Alex Rins, after the terrible fall in the Mugello Sprint Race and the consequent fracture of the tibia and fibula in his right leg, can finally return home.
The LCR Honda team rider first underwent surgery at the Careggi hospital in Florence where he underwent an initial surgery, where doctors applied an external fixator to stabilize his right leg and reduce swelling. A second operation followed. The pilot wanted to thank Dr. Vila, Dra. Gomez Arrayas and Dr. Sangiovanni.
