MotoGP | Mandalika test: program and times

IRTA Test Mandalika MotoGP 2022 – The MotoGP class riders will return to the track in a few hours for the second IRTA test on the Indonesian Mandalika circuit, a new track for everyone.

There will be three days of testing from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th February, from 02:00 to 10:00 Italian time. There had been great balance in Sepang, with the Ducatis and Aprilias on top, but with the Top Ten finished by less than three tenths.

We therefore expect confirmations but also redemptions from parts of riders who had not shone, including Andrea Dovizioso and Franco Morbidelli, Yamaha riders, even if the Italian-Brazilian had done well in terms of pace, without trying a time-attack.

Francesco Bagnaia interviewed by Sky Sport said: “The Superbike experience will prove to be very useful. Speaking strictly about us Ducatists, the new aerodynamics will help us a lot. I expect a fairly neutral track for all the bikes, seeing the layout it seems good for us, it will be fun.”
