MotoGP | Silverstone GP FP2: Quartararo strong, Bagnaia out of the provisional Q2

MotoGP British GP Free Practice 2 – The second free practice session of the MotoGP class British Grand Prix (12th race of the 2022 MotoGP world championship, ed.) was the prerogative of Fabio Quartararo.

Fourth time for Johann Zarco, the fastest in FP1. The Ducati Pramac rider is followed by Aleix Espargarò's Aprilia, Miguel Oliveira's KTM and Alex Rins' Suzuki.

Ducati riders Enea Bastianini (Gresini), Jack Miller (Team Factory) and Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR2 Racing Team) close out the Top Ten and are also in provisional Q46.

Surprisingly out, among others, even if they will still have FP3 to return, are the Ducati riders Pecco Bagnaia (Team Factory), Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) and Jorge Martin (Pramac).

Andrea Dovizioso (who will retire after the Misano race) is 19th, ahead of Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha Factory).

The best rookie was Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team) 10th, followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini) 17th, Remy Gardner (KTM Team Tech 3) 22nd, Darryn Binder (Yamaha WithU RNF) 23rd and Raul Fernandez (KTM Team Tech 3) 24th.
