The Team Gresini poleman commented on the Italian Grand Prix
Italian GP Mugello Gresini Racing – Fabio Di Giannantonio will long remember the weekend at Mugello, the track that hosted the eighth stage of the 2022 MotoGP, this despite the eleventh final position.
After his first pole in Top Class, the Team Gresini rookie didn't have the same feeling as in practice during the race, perhaps due to a defective tyre. Here's what he said "Diggia".

“First of all, it was great to start from the front and lead the race for the first lap. The crowd at Mugello and in front of everyone was truly impactful. It's a shame about the race where I think a defective tire complicated things a bit for us. I never found the feeling I had at the weekend and I struggled a lot to keep the bike stable. We could have stayed in the second group and maybe fought for seventh/eighth position, but we took another small step."
