MotoGP GP Argentina Free Practice 1 – The riders of the MotoGP class as well as their Moto3 and Moto2 colleagues are experiencing an unprecedented Saturday of testing at Termas de Rio Hondo, theater of the Argentine Grand Prix, third stage of the 2022 MotoGP.

In fact, the action on the track only began today due to the lack of some bikes and material that arrived just a few hours ago with a cargo plane that had broken down on the way from Indonesia to Argentina.

The fastest of these free practices was Takaaki Nakagami, who after testing first positive and then negative for Covid, also had to "thank" the cargo plane that arrived late, which postponed the practice sessions.

The LCR Honda Team rider, captained by Lucio Cecchinello, set the best lap with a time of 1'39.028, ahead of reigning Yamaha champion Fabio Quartararo by 0.127s and Pol Espargarò's Honda by 0.195s .

Fourth time for Aleix Espargarò's Aprilia, who preceded the excellent Marco Bezzecchi, fifth and obviously the best rookie of the session.

The Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider placed himself behind Alex Rins' Suzuki, Miguel Oliveira's KTM and Maverick Vinales' Aprilia, eighth.

Closing out the Top Ten are Brad Binder with KTM and Joan Mir with Suzuki. Enea Bastianini (Ducati Gresini) and Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Factory) occupied eleventh and twelfth place, while Luca Marini (Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing) finished 16th, ahead of Jack Miller (Ducati Factory), Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha Factory) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini rookie).

Last time for Andrea Dovizioso, who on the Yamaha of Team WithU RNF pays a gap from the top of 1.693s.

Rookie FP1 MotoGP GP Argentina

The best rookie as mentioned was Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team), 5th. Remy Gardner (Team Tech 3) is 13th, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini) 19th, Darryn Binder (Yamaha WithU RNF) 21st and Raul Fernandez (Team Tech 3) 23rd.
