MotoGP | GP Argentina Warm Up: Aprilia at the top with Aleix Espargarò
The pole man preceded Quartararo and Rins
MotoGP GP Argentina Warm Up – Pole man Aleix Espargarò set the best time in the warm-up of the MotoGP class at Termas de Rio Hondo, where the Argentine Grand Prix, third stage of the 20 MotoGP, will start at 00pm Italian time.
The #41 from the Noale company, which yesterday gave Aprilia a historic pole (first in MotoGP), lapped in 1:38.648, putting reigning Yamaha champion Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins' Suzuki behind him.
Jorge Martin follows with the Ducati Pramac and Maverick Vinales, with the latter increasingly comfortable with the Aprilia. Pecco Bagnaia is sixth and after very difficult qualifying (he will start from 13th place) he showed a good pace.
The KTMs of Miguel Oliveira and Brad Binder follow, preceding the Honda of Takaaki Nakagami and the Ducati Pramac of Johann Zarco.
World championship leader Enea Bastianini (Ducati Gresini) is twelfth, behind Joan Mir's Suzuki and ahead of Pol Espargarò's Honda and Franco Morbidelli's Yamaha.
Fall without consequences for the Ducati Moooney VR46 Racing Team rookie, Marco Bezzecchi who finished 16th. Back were Andrea Dovizioso (Yamaha WithU RNF), the rookie Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini) and Luca Marini (Ducati Moooney VR46 Racing Team), who finished in 21st, 22nd and 23rd position respectively.
