MotoGP | Qatar Test 2 Day 2: Danilo Petrucci, “We have improved but the leaders are far away”

MotoGP 2021 KTM Tech3 Factory Racing – Danilo Petrucci continues to "get to know" his new bike, the Team Tech 3 KTM.

The rider from Terni has brought his performances closer to the other riders from the Mattighofen company, but the leaders are very far away.

Today he was "lost" with the team to try new parts and tomorrow he will return to work on the setting with a view to the race. Here's what he said "Petrux".

“Compared to last week's tests we improved by a second and a half and now I'm up there with the other KTM riders. The downside is that we are not fast compared to the competition. Today we basically got lost to test some parts and didn't do any setup tests. It wasn't a positive day looking at the gap to the leaders. I don't know the bike well yet but I'm already close to other KTM riders. Tomorrow we will have to work differently.”

“Tomorrow I would like to improve my time and pace. I would like to try more settings in the future. For the race everything will change, we will only have an hour and a half to fix the bike."
