“In these two weekends of races and tests, we understood little about why we didn't perform well. In some sessions we were fast, while in others we really struggled and were slow. Today we were quite fast but not consistent. We finished our Qatari interlude with speed but not consistency. My idea and I will discuss it with my team is to start from scratch in Portimao, try to restart in the same way we finished 2020. That is a track where we have already raced and done well and the bike is now the same as the last year and therefore we should do well. If that doesn't happen, then it will be worrying and we will have to work differently to last year."
