MotoGP | GP Qatar 2 Race: Quartararo, “Great victory, I have no words” [VIDEO]

MotoGP GP Qatar 2 Monster Yamaha 2021 – Fabio Quartararo achieved a sensational victory today at the Losail International Circuit.

The French Yamaha rider wanted to make up for last Sunday's dull race and he succeeded very well, taking command of operations a few laps from the end with a double overtaking of the Ducati Pramac riders, first Zarco and then Martin. Here's what "El Diablo" said at the end of the race.

"I am speechless. This victory is different from the previous three MotoGP races that I have won so far. After the last race I was a bit disappointed. This race was completely different. I thought, I played a lot with the map and the tires. With nine or ten laps to go I thought 'Now it's time to push and show our potential'. It's great to finish first! In FP4 I was the only rider to do 1'54' high. I felt good on the bike and when I overtook Zarco, I immediately overtook Martin too. I got scared when I hit debris on the track. I thought 'Not a puncture, please!', because I heard a bad sound. My last lap wasn't as fast as the first ones, but it was enough for the win. Singing the French anthem with Zarco today was the best moment I've ever had.”
