MotoGP Gp Algarve Portimao Free Practice 2 – Fabio Quartararo, after setting the best time in the FP1 of the Algarve Grand Prix in the MotoGP class, also recorded the best performance in Free Practice 2.

The new World Champion lapped in 1:39.390, putting his Yamaha M1 ahead of the Ducatis of Francesco Bagnaia and Jack Miller, 0.132s and 0.221s behind respectively.

Joan Mir with Suzuki set the fourth fastest time ahead of Pol Espargarò's Honda Repsol and Johann Zarco's Ducati Pramac.

Seventh time for Alex Marquez (Honda LCR), ahead of his Aprilia compatriot Aleix Espargarò and the Honda of Japanese rider Takaaki Nakagami. Alex Rins with Suzuki closes the virtual Q2.

Out (provisionally) by just 49 thousandths Franco Morbidelli, twelfth and ahead of his KTM compatriot Danilo Petrucci, who in turn precedes the Aprilia of Maverick Vinales.

Ducati rookies Luca Marini (Sky VR46 Avintia) and Enea Bastianini (Avintia) are in 15th and 16th position while the Yamaha Petronas duo of Valentino Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso closes the time table almost two seconds from the top.

Eighteenth time for Stefan Bradl, who replaces the injured Marc Marquez aboard the Honda Repsol (Click here to find out more).
