“It is truly a great satisfaction to have managed to win the Manufacturers' World Championship again this year and I thank our riders and all the women and men of Ducati Corse who contributed to this incredible success. There remains some regret about the drivers' title, because this year it was really within our reach. Even today Pecco drove a perfect race and didn't make the slightest mistake throughout the weekend! His was a great season and he is truly a great rider. Congrats to Jack too! We are happy that he finally managed to return to the podium after proving that he can be fast during the last Grands Prix."

Statements Claudio Domenicali (CEO of Ducati Motor Holding) Ducati Manufacturers Title GP Algarve Portimao

“The best motorbike in the world is Italian. Winning the constructors' title for the second consecutive year is a great success and fills us with pride. Once again the teamwork of engineers and riders gave excellent results, the Desmosedici GP confirmed itself as very competitive, bringing 5 out of the 6 riders who raced the championship on Ducati bikes to the podium. Pecco Bagnaia, Jack Miller, Jorge Martin, Johann Zarco, Enea Bastianini and Luca Marini were all extraordinary and I want to thank them for giving us a season full of emotions with 6 victories and the record number of podiums despite one race still to go, 21. We have bet on these young talents and their energy without being disappointed. A big thank you also to the entire Ducati Corse team, for once again managing to bring home this great result, working with the passion and determination that has always distinguished every member of the Ducati family on the track. Now all we have to do is end the season in the best possible way with the Valencia race and then look to next year with the desire to improve ourselves even more."
