MotoGP Gp Algarve Portimao Race – Francesco Bagnaia's splendid victory at Portiamo gave Ducati the constructors' title for the second consecutive year.

“Pecco” dominated the race, crossing the finish line with a wide margin over Joan Mir (Suzuki) and team-mate Jack Miller.

Fourth at the finish line, somewhat surprisingly, was Alex Marquez (Honda LCR), who fought for the third position on the podium, which then went, as told, to Jack Miller.

Johann Zarco's race was decent and he was awarded the "Best Independent Rider" title, with Team Pramac winning the "Best Independent Team" title.

Zarco preceded Pol Espargarò, the second Ducati Pramac of Jorge Martin, the Suzuki of Alex Rins and the Ducati rookie Enea Bastianini (Avintia).

Difficult race for Yamaha, with Quartararo down while fighting for the Top Five, while Valentino Rossi finished in the rear, 13th, Andrea Dovizioso 14th and Franco Morbidelli 17th.

Danilo Petrucci's race didn't even last a lap, hit by Brad Binder at turn 4 during the first lap.

Absent was Marc Marquez, who suffered a mild concussion while training with his enduro bike (Click here to find out more).
