The two-wheeled "Red" is increasingly the protagonist

Ducati MotoGP 2021 – The Ducati continues to amaze and from a bike defined as "capricious" at the very least, it has become the most balanced bike of the lot, as the results say and it matters little if Fabio Quartararo, a Yamaha rider, is at the top of the riders' championship, but he has just one point ahead of “Pecco” Bagnaia and his Ducati Desmosedici.

The Desmosedici is going strong with all its riders, including rookies, who among other things ride an "older" bike than the official and riders Pramac, Zarco and the injured Jorge Martin, who should return to Mugello.

The start, despite 3 victories for Yamaha in the first three races, is worth remembering, 9 podiums achieved out of 15 available and two victories complete with a double in Jerez and Le Mans.

Jack Miller won both in Spain and in France and behind him there was always a "Red" rider, Bagnaia in Jerez and Zarco in Le Mans.

The most surprising thing is that Ducati is strong even on tracks that have always been difficult and when last year many criticized the management's choice to rejuvenate the team (via Dovizioso and Petrucci for Miller and Bagnaia, ed.), in Borgo Panigale they were convinced of their choice, which at the moment is proving them right.

The only riders' title in MotoGP dates back to 2007, when a phenomenon called Casey Stoner was in the saddle, while in 2020, thanks to the many bikes on the track and good results, the manufacturers' title was achieved.

Now favorable tracks such as Mugello and Barcelona are arriving and in Austria, the track that has always seen her as a protagonist, there will be two races (instead of Finland, ed.). Ducati is "scary", even its opponents say so: "This year Ducati is very strong, especially the officials, who are in great shape" said Valentino Rossi, who is echoed by reigning champion Joan Mir: " This year all Ducati is doing well, it will be difficult to beat them.”

The Ducati/Australia pairing makes the "Red" fans dream as they hope to bring home the title, but one point from the top is our Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia, who would like to make a historic pairing, rider and bike Italians at the top of the world, something that hasn't happened for a long, long time.

“It was another beautiful day, and I'm very happy because this year we really have two great riders! Both Jack and Pecco had an incredible race and today we could have even finished first, second and third. Now we just need to check what caused the excess speed recorded in the pit lane during the flag-to-flag. Congratulations also to Zarco for another extraordinary podium.”
