MotoGP | Di Giannantonio: “My dream? Becoming World Champion”

The Gresini Racing team rider, Fabio Di Giannantonio, was a guest on "Reparto Corse" on Sky Sport 24. In his interview, "Diggia" spoke about his expectations for the season which will see him debut in MotoGP with Ducati, then focusing on about his goals and dreams.

“I've already started preparing for the season, the truth is that I can't wait to get on track! We are all very strong, we have always been strong in all categories and it will be a good challenge. Maybe with the KTM riders it will be a revenge since they beat us last year. The goal is to grow and learn because it's a completely new category. If I feel good, we can do well straight away but now I'm at the adults' school and I want to learn."

Statements by Fabio Di Giannantonio on dreams for the future

“I realized one of the dreams I had since I was a child in November, which was to ride a MotoGP. Now there are others like the first race in Qatar at night, under the lights. Then another dream is to become one of the greats, get podiums and win races. And then the real dream is to become world champion, because there it means that you are the best of all. That's the goal I've been chasing all my life, that's the big dream."

“Having Bastianini as a teammate is wonderful because we have a great relationship, he will certainly be able to give me a hand even if it's everyone for themselves. Two veterans impressed me: Pecco Bagnaia and Fabio Quartararo. They're crazy, Pecco uses the Ducati well while Fabio is very clean, I've been studying them since last year and trying to steal a little something from them. They are the reference."
