MotoGP Coronavirus Covid-19 – The coronavirus pandemic continues and the FIM together with IRTA and Dorna Sports has communicated further postponements of the Italian Grand Prix which should have been held on May 31st at Mugello and that of Catalunya, scheduled for May 7th. June. Below is the official press release.

The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports regret having to announce the postponement of the Oakley Italian Grand Prix and the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya, which were due to be held at the Mugello circuit from 29 to 31 May and at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from 5 to 7 June in Barcelona. The current coronavirus epidemic has forced the rescheduling of the two events.

As the situation remains in a state of constant evolution, new dates for these Grands Prix, as well as the recently postponed French and Spanish GPs, cannot be confirmed until it is clearer when it will be possible to stage the events. A revised calendar will be posted when available.
