MotoGP German GP Honda Repsol – Seven out of seven, ten out of ten also considering the 125cc and Moto2 classes; these are the impressive numbers of Marc Marquez at the Sachsenring, who today took his fifth victory of the season, number 49 in MotoGP, 75th of his career.

On the German circuit the #93 of the Repsol Honda Team has dominated since 2010, with 10 victories and the same number of pole positions. A perfect race for him, which thanks to Andrea Dovizioso's fifth place, allows him to extend his lead in the championship against the Ducati rider, now 58 points behind.

He ran the race he had in mind, on the run from the first corner, leaving no hope for his rivals, he had the say.

“After my brother's race (Alex won the Moto2 race, ed.) we had to celebrate. Arriving at summer holidays like this is different. We must be happy. Everyone wants to win and every victory should always be celebrated because you never know what will happen next. At the start I took a risk, my strategy was to be first from start to finish – said Marc Marquez – When I'm in the slipstream I don't concentrate. At the first corner I took a risk, but the strategy was the right one. In the race I thought that Maverick (Vinales, ed.) and Rins were following me in the first 15 laps. I took my step and the victory arrived. My brother at Honda? There is no room at the moment. I don't want to disrespect my brand mates. I won't say anything about this. I can only advise him to arrive in MotoGP with the right bike, you have to have determination. The Honda is a difficult bike.”
