MotoGP Australian GP Phillip Island Petronas Yamaha SRT MotoGP Day 2 – Franco Morbidelli was among the riders in favor of suspending on-track activity after Miguel Oliveira's accident in FP4.
The Petronas team driver also took to the track in FP3 and completed several laps.

“It was difficult to drive today because it was so windy. But we managed to be decently fast, especially in FP4, and we'll now see what tomorrow brings. It was the right choice to move on to qualifying on Sunday because it is already difficult to ride a MotoGP at Phillip Island and with the strong wind it quickly becomes dangerous."
