MotoGP Australian GP Phillip Island Ducati MotoGP Day 1 – Danilo Petrucci ended the first day of free practice for the Australian Grand Prix, seventeenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP, in fourth position.

The rider from Terni immediately demonstrated a good feeling with the Australian circuit, both in wet and dry track conditions, he was always among the fastest in both sessions and finished the day in fourth place with a time of 1: 29.327.

“It's always nice to ride here at Phillip Island: it's one of my favorite tracks and today we were fast from the start. Getting the bike set up right is never easy on this circuit, due to the high-speed corners and the various possibilities of interpreting the track, but I'm very confident for tomorrow. Today we were fast in both the wet and the dry, and therefore I am very optimistic for the rest of the weekend and satisfied with this first day."
