Marc Marquez chasing his 50th GP success
Marc Marquez is on pole at Aragon for the third consecutive year. If he wins the race he will become the youngest rider to reach the milestone of 50 GP victories
Jorge Lorenzo starts from the front row of the grid for the eleventh time in 2015. Lorenzo has stood on the podium at Aragon for the last four years, including last year's victory.
Andrea Iannone third on the grid, had not been on the front row since the Mugello race, when he set pole and finished the race in second place
Pol Espargarò (second row) equaled the best result (4th) achieved in Jerez. He won at Aragon in 125cc (2010) and Moto2 (2012).
Dani Pedrosa (fifth on the starting grid), for the first time does not qualify on the front row
on the Aragon circuit.
Aleix Espargarò, best Suzuki rider (seventh) achieved his best qualifying result since the German Grand Prix.
Cal Crutchlow (eighth on the grid) achieved his only podium with Ducati last year in Aragon
Danilo Petrucci (ninth on the grid) has been the best Ducati rider in the last two races
Bradley Smith (tenth time) has his worst qualifying result since the Dutch TT.
For the first time Eugene Laverty is the best rider in the Open class, fifteenth place in
grill.
